Summer camp is a brilliant way for children and teens to discover new hobbies, develop skills, and truly make the most of their summer. Jacksonville and its surrounding areas offer a wide variety of camps to chose from, which makes it easier to customize around your family’s schedule or your student’s needs and interests. Below is a list of 7 camps for students of all ages offered throughout the Jacksonville area. If you would like more information, click on the links below – all camps are currently enrolling!

Shiva Robotics Academy Camp. Students interested in robotics, this may be just the camp. Shiva Robotics camp is open to students K-12 and no prior LEGO robotics experience is neededStudents will learn from certified robotics instructors. Working in small team sizes based on age and skillset, as well as independently students will have the chance to work on fully functional robotic models daily.

Camp Chippewa. Camp Chippewa offers the perfect old fashioned summer experience – playing outside, getting dirty, and making memories. Camp Chippewa provides campers aged 7-12 a structured opportunity for growth. Their motto is “get outside and have fun, instead of being stuck inside watching TV or playing video games.” A no technology policy allows the campers to unplug from electronics and find the joy in outdoor activity!
TNT Gymnastics Camp. TNT offers a one of a kind camp experience, especially for those who are full of energy or have an interest in gymnasticsTNT promises “a safe, energetic, fun camp setting” that encourages gymnastics skill development, socializing, and creativity!
Bright Minds YD Camp. If you’re looking for a camp that has it all, look no further.

BMYD’s mission is to “cultivate young minds for excellence and success by providing support, opportunities, and positive challenges” for children and teens ages 5-16 years old. This camp incorporates structured classroom learning, mentoring, youth leadership training, arts & crafts, and sports. Campers also enjoy weekly field trips to places such as Adventure Landing, Dave and Busters, AMC Theater, O2B Kids, Skate Station and more!

FALA Spanish Summer Camp. FALA Spanish – Children Around the World
is a top rated camp for Spanish culture immersion for students ages 3-13. Campers will travel the world without leaving the city
Campers discover the lifestyles, customs, artists, musicians, and inventors of major Spanish-speaking countries while learning Spanish. Activities ranging from cooking, to soccer and dance are all uniquely incorporated into Spanish language learning.

Sports Edge.Sports Edge brings athletic training and fun to summer. Whether you are looking for a fun, skill based experience, focused positional training for beach/indoor volleyball, baseball skills camps, or are in need of an exciting activity kids camp for younger ones, Sports Edge has lots to offer for ages 5-18.

MOSH Discovery Camps.  MOSH combines education and entertainment in their yearly spring, summer and winter camps. Each camp encourages student curiosity and exploration in STEM while venturing around the Museum. Highly-trained MOSH Educators utilize the entire Museum to make each camp engaging for students K-8.
